All white rooms needn’t be sterile, if styled correctly, they can exude the most inviting, serene and enchanting ambiance.
White is pure and pristine and according to colour psychology it represents new beginnings, wiping the slate clean, so to speak.
Decorating a room entirely in white takes some restraint but the effect needn’t be clinical, instead it can evoke a sense of tranquility and be very romantic.
If you’re considering going for an all white look, remember white comes in a variety of shades, you don’t need to stick to brilliant whites, think of using slightly off whites or those with a hint of colour. And adding a few subtle textures and colours can compliment it greatly, without detracting from the overall look and feel of the room.

2. Living rooms.
There’s something very sophisticated and grown up about all white living rooms, they eschew class and restraint. Whist white furniture and linens are easy to find, it’s an easy to look to create but remember they show off dirt and mark easily so buy things that can be easily cleaned if you want to keep the pristine look, and choose items with some texture to add warmth. If you yearn for a bit of contrast, natural products like wood are a great and subtle addition to the ambiance, or use one other colour selectively, and plants always add a bit of life.
3. Kitchens and dining rooms
Kitchens are all about cleanliness and the wonderful food that comes out of them so having a white kitchen is perfect for ensuring a pristine and fresh look that complements your culinary skills. It’s also very easy to achieve since most white goods are not surprising white. The addition of colour and texture through lights and furniture will help soften any starkness.
